  1. Most likely reason is shooter fatigue. - M14's have the worst recoil impulse of any US military small arms. Secondly, you didn't explain what the grouping did (shift right/left, rise, or shotgun) This knowledge would be very helpful in truly assessing the problem. Other thoughts: Some IMR powders are a little bit thermal sensitive. I would suggest 44grs of Varget, to give a lower extreme spread in velocities and thermally it's very stable.
  2. The screw breackage is not common, but does occur. It is most likley that it was ham fisted at the factory. Getting the broken piece to screw out will be the hardest part, but can be replaced. When replacing, don't excede the torque limit of 35-40 inch- pounds (per Army TM 9-1005-319-23&P page 3-27)
  3. If I drink porter it will look like a Cessna
  4. Hi All, for the lucky people out there that have a porter to jump out, firstly, I am Jealous. In addition to falling out of the sky occasionally, I also fly radio control airplanes. I am building an 8’ wingspan Pilatus Porter and intend to paint it in the Golden Knights scheme. I also intend to add as much scale detail as possible, which brings me to all you lucky folks out there. I need good pics of everything, out side and in, landing gear main and tail, flaps, wings, Vertical fin, everyting. If you are at the DZ and have a digital, please take a few snaps and e-mail them to [email protected]. Thanks you all in advance. Marty
