  1. A Turbine KING AIR A90 has been added to the full time fleet with (2) custom painted C182's. Roll up door, bench seat, carpet and handrail included with 15 min. climb to 14,000 for $20.00. The beautiful sceenery taken in is worth the ticket. Come visit a rapid growing, friendly, no clicks DZ. All disciplines welcome! This is not an advertisment but an invitation from a regular paying jumper.
  2. This is a beautiful picturesque DZ. Intracoastal waterway at the end of the runway and the Beach facing south is less than a mile off the runway. Located in Oak Island City limits 30 min. south of Wilmington NC. 45 min. from N. Myrtle Beach SC. It doesn't have a full time turbine yet but the beautiful scenery and beach jumps are well worth the difference. A very friendly and highly experienced staff. They have one beautifully painted 182 and a second one in the paint shop now. There is shaded packing in the carpeted hanger and video availiable for your Jumps. Plenty of camping, Food and motels within 2 miles of the airport. Aiport landing for jumpers with less than 100 jumps. There are several regular landing Spots at the beach, but the pier is most enjoyable, (Restaurant and bar on pier) We Have even packed in the bar. I'm a regular with 20yrs in the sport and drive here instead of driving to two Otters and Casa thats only a 15 min. Farther trip. Come visit! You won't regret It.
  3. That would be a great addition. I jump with a mini DV and have been experimenting capturing stills off of video, but it requires replay of video, pause or freeze frame, then shoot it on memory stick. It works great but the quality might be better if the stills were recorded direct instead of shooting off of tape. Good luck on your search. Include me as an interested user of the remote. Someday maybe I can dis-mount my 35mm. I'll be adding a (still off video), to the photo section later on of a three way zipper in the center of a pyramid of light beams from the sun reflected off the lense Over the new Oak Island NC DZ with ocean background.
