  3. I use a Sony HDR-CX150 and edit my DVD's on my HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop using Pinnacle Studio 14 HD editing suit.I have made a template, all i do is add the new footage play around with the music a little, add jumpers particulars and hit make dvd and leave and do your thing. It takes a little longer than the traditional way with a mixer and real time editing but I am very happy with the end result.camera has enough internal memory for a whole weekend of jumping and will take less than a minute to download all footage onto your pc for a fresh camera. All is portable so you can set up anywhere..... 4. All of us at our DZ are investing in the said camera to be used for tandem handcam. We would like to find out downloading onto dvd without using a pc. We use dvd recorders now with a mixer, how do we do the same and keep all in HD. TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

  7. Is anyone using the said cam for 3rd eye or handycam? We need to replace our handycams and have been investigating said video cam but would like to hear how it is handling in the field if possible before we invest. TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

  10. I have found the more aggressive I arch on exit there more I have had problems flying...the student often not where you want them. I am now more relaxed on exit and using my arms and legs with a slight arch..my thinking is that it takes away the side spin deal..on drogue out i am still not in huge arch..knees down a little.i do all hand cam..i tend to fly with the student using my legs to keeps us nice and comfy and into the sun for the shot...i have had only good tandems doing this... Energy

Hi all just a question and some advice needed. What is good for energy during jumping....doing sixteen tandems in a day....to keepyour energy levels up.I an 40 reasonably fit but need something to boost myself naturally.I use a sports drink but want to get away eating junkfood when hungry around the middle of the day. Any suggestions? TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  14. happy new year to all......wishing only the best for all. Can somebody tellme where I can get a simple logbook programme for my pc....run out of logbooks and just want to put my monthly jumps on pc then print to file thank you TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  15. Get your ratings on the rigs used in you area. All the rigs are good and all TM have the ones they prefer. No course is easy and you would not want to do an easy course anyway.I have my rating on Vector Strong,Sigma and eclipse but prefer vector as thats what I jump 99% of the time. they all work well.Do a proper intense course and take it from there. blue Skies TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  16. Shot for the feedback, one more...the belly strap,do you all tighten completely or medium? TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  17. Its a difficult one.I take my student away from the rest and explain to them politly that because of their weight I am going to tighten their legstraps tighter than normal.I explain why,and that they will be uncomfortable but safe. If the chest strap is to tight after opening I will loosen a little. Doing the legstraps a bit tighter through the flab prevents them from sinking after deploy. I have had good reults and passangers have all been happy...sore legs a little but happy TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  18. Hi all. Was interested to hear how you all tighten your tandem students legstraps...meaning do you make them tight tight or able to say, slip three fingers between strap and leg. When you put the harness on do you do legstraps first or last? My fellow instuctors and I would like to hear from you all,We had a discussion about it and we differ in ways. Lastly has anybody got a pic of the Y strap? We want to add that to our harnesses Thankyou TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  19. We get alot of visitors from ather countries so often we have had pass who connot speak english. We might soend a little longer with them briefing but will take them. Most of the time someone on the ground can help a little with translation.Pictures help in explaining what you want them to do. 20. Yip,I enjoy the exit more and seem to get to drogue throw quicker with all passangers. When people talk about side spins,I feel the de-arched tumble exit eliminates that, not that that is the the reason I do the de-arch exit. TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

  22. Thanks to all who have had good inputs, not just shooting me down.I have read and will use, thankyou. I do not offer carnival rides and do give my passangers a background of skydiving.I talk to them about wind, spotting while in the plane, why we spot where, explain turning while in freefall, why we open at certain altitudes. While under canopy, they fly and I teach them again about wind direction relative to the DZ. Most of our passangers are tourists who have a to do list,I still give them the run down. We jump a c182 so floating tandem exits are seldom. Couple of your exits will tumble anyway. As I said before tumble exits are not a norm I feel I am safe out there and not out to kill myself or my pass. variety is the spice of life. Thanks again for the input TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
  23. Why Thank you, Just to know where you coming from?No disrespect intended. How many tandems have you done, what aircraft do you use and what is your skydiving history.
