  1. I also got email from Roy and decided to see how for he would go. Well I acually recieved a check (if you want to call it that) and they wanted to pick up rig and balance of 2,000 usd because he over paid you. They must think Americans are really stupid.
  2. I have took several tips with rig and had nothing as far as paperwork, each time without any problems until recently at Clearwater Fl. coming back from z-hills. They sent rig thru x-ray and then wanted me to open it up so they could see the metal object that looked liked some sort of spring. I began arguing with them how they were the first airport I ran into that wasn't trained properly and if I opened the reserve area of the rig we would have parachute material all over the place and that I don't have a bag to put it in after that. So after arguing for a little while longer and involving three more airport officials, they made me check it to avoid inspections. After that I was panicking that my little child wasn't with me beings I just paid $4,000.00 for rig. To top it all off when I got in my seat I just happened to be sitting in the seat where they loaded luggage and got to watch them throw my rig like a football onto conveyor. O'h yea, at least they did bag it for me.Quote
  3. I am looking at buying a javelin c-17 size rig, the person that owns it is 6'3, 185lbs and I am 5'10, 185lbs. Would this rig fit me as well ?
  4. I really appreciate your advice and as well as everyone else's. Trust me I'm not doing anything low other than landing and the sabre is great on landings. I am just looking for advice on a direction to go, hard advice, reading material, ect. I'm trying to increase my skill level slowly, I am 45 yrs old and plan on being here for a long time. Thanks agian.
  5. Can anyone tell me how to get better front and rear riser imput from my sabre 170? Right now, I get better performance from my brake imput and I'm sure it's lack of knowlede about my canopy. When I try to do front riser turns it's like doing pull ups with very little results.
  6. To the person asking about the sabre 180, I have sabre 170 with about 100 jumps to my name and I love my sabre. If you roll the nose while packing and pro pack you find that it will open nice and softly.
