    so I thought until starting to investigate, and am assured there are some good lenses with facility for attachments, and quality is dependent as with cameras on price. But I still haven't seen the evidence anywhere.

  3. depends on, how current I am, my mood, size and shape of dz (any sources of wind turbulance), which canopy I am jumping etc, and if in doubt my answer would be "no jump"

  4. It's very simple, if your asking this question you are not ready to increase wingloads or downsize. Ask yourself first two things, Am I getting Max performance out of my current canopy?" "Am I confident enough to downsize?"

    The best answer to this question is an air ticket to Empuria Brava (or other dropzone) and do a piloting course, One of the most impotant things I learnt in a Piloting course is that when I am ready to downsize or increase performance and loading, then I won't need to ask, I will know it.

    since the first time I saw Soul flyers I have been fascinated with the concept of "Blade Running" what is the best canopy for this. Currently flyng a Spark 150 but looking to downsize to a 135 or perhaps 120

  18. I´ve bought my first and subsequently current rig on e-bay. both were great buys,though there is always risk buying somthing blind. correspond direct with the seller,get all the info you can. and check the adds on dropzone.com there´s some good buys here (mine for example)
    on my new rig I had the hacky changed for little cost by my local rigger, was not expensive. not nec. to change deploy.

  19. There is a responsibility within the community that is unequalled by almost any other sport. If you convince someone to buy an undersized rig, just to make a sale. Well the award is for you. Of course there are lightwieghts and naturals that will from the start have no issues with a small rig, the event that triggerd this award was an un-necessary accident where a fresh off the AFF course beginner was negotiating buying a Sabre 150, he trial jumped it at the insistance of the seller. Several people in the dropzone tried to talk him out of it, but were labled as underestimating cynics. Crash and burn. Luckily he got off with a light to moderate concussion and a busted up self confidence. By the way, I am told the seller tried to insist he then buy the rig as he had ditied it.... so don't y'all think the seller is getting off lightly with the DH lable, I would personally call him something else......

  22. :) ok I just wasted 10min and read this b.s. now, it seems reasonable to say "don´t do drugs if it affects others" but hels bells, and honestly, how many of the righteous critics think they can drive (just this once and there´s not much traffic ha ha) after just a couple of beers. struck out dudes (& dudettes). must admit that the righteous already have this guy lined up with the mansons and the hannibals for a joint. get real folks, what is it that YOU`RE hiding. hey, I have a very responsible job, but I am not going to sack my crew for what they (probably) did a week ago on thier visit to amsterdam.

  23. since when is the attraction an academic (or financial) issue, that attitude is so damn American. All relationships need to be strong, not just one or other dominant individual, we ALL have our strengths and weaknesses, in a team, reltionship, the idea is for one partner to support the other AND VICE VERSA . If you cannot communicate you cannot survive, but I am sure that communication dosn´t need to be defined by one partners field of acadamia. Strong women, tough guys are you out to prove somthing,

  27. :)hi folks, it´s the guy with the Spark again. must say first I am very happy with the canpies perfomance, it seems a bit faster than the Sabre (could be the trim) but has a great flare. just one thing, most openings the stabilizers stay tucked under until I long pump (slow) the brakes, never had this before, is it normal, canopy is zp150ft and rectangular.

    like all sporting gear, what your comfotable wearing is the best, (as long as it does the job) My helmet is open because I like hearing and feeling the air,gloves that are comfortable and allow dexterity , the jump-suit of course must be apprpriate to the style of flying that attracts you. as for canopy, since you will probably not have your 1st canopy long, and unless money is no object, buy a used rig, but get it checked first. my start rig was a vector II with a PD 190. great for all conditions..... comfort beats style
