Ratings and Rigging

  1. Check out ebay also. I (living in the US) just sold a good beginners rig to a fellow in Spain. Granite shipping wise it had to go by boat because any other means would have been a couple hundred $ extra for the buyer
  2. Rig should have a military contract # stamped on it. Be it the risers or wherever. I jump my MT-1x with no problem. As long as it passes a riggers inspection Military rigs are TSOed well beyond the limits of civilian gear.
  3. I won't mention the make or manufacture yet. I bought a canopy that was used as a reserve but never deployed. During Rantoul I decided to use it as a main parachute. After deploying the thing kept wanting to go right on me and got real squirrely before landing. Prior to landing flare right toggle was alredy half way down compensating for the turn. Aero store checked it out for me and found no damage and break lines were of equal length. I took it to the Manufactues tent and their short term fix was to install 2 extra mini links on the right side line groups. I jumped it and it had a much less turn but to the left this time. I sent it back to the manufacture with my whole story and was told it would be fixed at no charge. When I recieved it back it still had the 4 liks on the right side risers and no explination of what was done to it.My question is is this a safe fix? Tracy
