Ok everyone, Eric really needs some more of those good vibes. He's come down with that nasty stomach flu going around and has been very sick the past two days. Get better FAST Eric!! Pretty Please? -Trish

Well, after a slightly rough ambulance ride...we got Eric home safe and sound. He's all warm and snug in the comfort of his own home with unlimited selection of TV Channels AND VOLUME CONTROL!!! Man was it hard to hear the tv at the hospital and we were getting sick of all the edited bleeps! I am sure as soon as we get his computer back online he'll be on here filling you in on all the haps... so I'll leave that to him.

HI everyone. Eric is recovering well from the last surgery. Still in a lot of pain, but it's getting better with each day. Some really good news, he could be going home as early as this weekend!! We keep hearing excellent things about the surgeon who has been operating on Eric at Northridge Hospital. So rest assure he is and has been in great hands.

Update: Eric has made it through the 'last' surgery. They took him down at 9am and brought him back to his room at 2PM today. The doctor had to spend much more time on that right foot than initially expected. He successfully straightened it out, cleaned up some of the splintered bone and inserted 'rods'. This one has left him in much more pain then the last one, exactly a week ago . The positive outcome will be that he could start trying to walk on that foot in 4-6 weeks - barring any infection. Lets all pull together and give him some really really nice thoughts to come back online to, when he is feeling better.

LOL, I think this will make 9. I'll be sure to tell them the next one is on the house OK, so ... This one's FREE!!! okay everyone. Eric is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow (Thursday) at 5pm. This will be to straighten the right foot out and replace the fixters with pins in the left leg. This is really good news for his recovery. Please send all good vibes his way!!! ******Good Vibes for Eric******

Hey guys! This Thread sure has died down, but we really need to speed it back up again. Keep those 'good vibes', prayers, and whatever else you can offer, coming. Eric has hit a bump in the road. After getting all ready (mentally) and looking forward to finally going home, the doctors and medical staff threw a curve ball his way. He ended up not being able to go home this weekend and had to be, yet again, transferred to another medical facility last Thursday night. He had to undergo a full evaluation (again! ), under this NEW medical staff that will be in charge of setting up his home care and important steps to his amazing recovery. Lets all remind Eric that we are still here with much love and support!! Eric, keep that smile on your face... you'll be back home soon enough and everything will work out slowly but surely!! It has too!! You are a living miracle!

That's cool, his dad has been around! Thanks for the update. A lot of history there. I wonder if it was the Mexican place he took me to once, their food was excellent!

Well, here are some of the FAST FOODS, I remember as his favorite!! Jack in the box: hambuger with ketchup ONLY, Chicken Breast pieces with BBQ sauce (always check the bag for the BBQ sauce, cause they hardly ever get it right!!!) and their Tacos too... Mc'Donald's: Hamburger with Ketchup only and their FRIES - of course!!! Not much else off the Lunch menu, but for breakfast ...definately the Deluxe Big breakfast with coffee. No Orange Juice.

Thank you so much for the update. My thoughts and Prayers are with him always. In light of today being 9/11. I'd like to take a moment to share with everyone, my memory of that day. Shortly after the second plane hit, I received my one and only phone call of the day about the horrible incident. It was Eric, calling me as soon as he was awoken by his T.V. covering what was happening in New York. (Eric loves to fall asleep with the T.V. on, it has always been like his way to unwind and finally go to sleep at night.) He woke me up, just telling me "turn on your T.V." I asked "why?" Still waking up. He said "just turn it on". We both watched in amazement. We watched, LIVE, as it all unfolded. Saw each tower fall to the ground. Thousands of lives lost ... "In a New York Minute". Oh my god it was an emotional day. And will FOREVER be... for all of America. I remember Eric's exact words, while we were watching it all happen, "The world and the way we live will never be the same". My heart goes out to all the Hero's, their families, to everyone. For me, on a personal level, 9/11 will always be remebered as the day that brought Eric and I the closest together. Although we have grown apart over the last year, he has always been in my thoughts. If he ever needed anything, I would want to be there for him. Be strong Eric, you are very special to this world. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I wish you only the best life can bring.

I am sure I speak for everyone when I say it is so great to get these updates on Eric's condition. (Many from Laurie and Lisa) It's such a piece of mind to hear about his progress with challenges we all know he will only overcome. Thank you! If you have a chance could either of you let him and his family know I think of them often and would like to be there to help if ever needed. I can see there is an abundance of support in his corner already... however I hope you'd still let me know if there's anything I can do. Thanks and LOTS of LOTS of LOTS of good strong VIBES!!! - Trish
