    (1)A student who has been cleared for freefall self-supervision may jump without a RSL upon the endorsement from his or her supervising instructor.

    (2) such endorsement may be for one jump or a series of jumps.

    Norcal is part of west coast (I hear washington is west coast). I thought Byron(NorCal) was inclusive.

    Well there is a real cheap and fun way to do this. Find and appropriate beverage that comes in a 12 oz can. Then do a hop and pop. Next consume beverage when done with beverage slightly crush can. Throw can and then attempt to catch can in one of the cells in your canopy. Quite fun If can is to floaty then next time smash can a little more. As you get better you can land with several empty beverage cans in your canopy. Try at your own risk.

  15. This sport gets real tough when you can start to put faces with the incident reports and you can remember good times with those people. Also think about how social this sport is and how many people you meet. You can almost go to any big dropzone that you haven't been to and know someone. It is a good thing but with the ever expanding circle of freinds and aquaintances the likelyhood of knowing the victim is much greater. How does one work through this like others have said you either stop or develop a greater respect for the risks we take. Also you question the risks other take enough so the know you care but don't sound like you are holding them back.
