  1. I just took my first tandem jump at ASC in cedartown, and I cant wait to go back and go through the AFF course. I had a very professional TM who took time with me and made me feel very comfortable with my first jump (your thee bomb Mike) True that I haven't been to any other DZ's to compare this one to, but they have an excellent student safty record. I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!
  2. welcome to the biggest adrenaline rush I have found so far! Let us know how it goes with lev. 1
  3. Hey! Your doing the right thing in learning all you can while you wait for the big day. Good luck with your Aff. Let us know how it went
  4. Hi....Antonio, I am Deborah from Georgia and I too am raising money to begin my AAF course. I am having to take on a part time job just to finance my skydiving but it is an expense worth working at bit extra for. I read the skydivers handbook here and it's great. I personally am just spending any spare time I have learning about everything I can (especially malfunctions and what to do about them). Good luck!
  5. I know what you mean about the spending money....been out looking for a job just to pay skydiving expenses....but it's worth it! lol
  6. Hi made my first jump a few days ago and I am hooked. I jumped tandem because I wasn't sure how I would react my first time exiting the plane, but not only was I comfortable with it, I fell in love with skydiving. I had a wondeful tandem master, mike gruwell who, I could tell not only knew what he was doing but made the effort to explain what I was to expect and, after hearing from others who have done one jump and never went back, I'm glad I was lucky enough to be introduced to the sport by someone who acted like he was introducing me to a new sport rather than someone who was just giving me a quick ride. I am now determined to get my license. Now that I've been up there I can't imagine not going back!
