Catherine Stowers (dz.com-"Catherines") passed away this week. It was not skydiving related.

She was a new jumper and I never really got to know her well after only a few conversations.

For those who knew her, my condolences for your loss.

I passed AFF in 7 jumps and thought I was the man.
At 300 jumps I thought I knew something.
After 500 jumps I realized I knew nothing.
After 792 jumps I realize I suck.

Now I just try to suck a little less each jump.

Be aware and discuss break off procedures.
Low expeirence free-flyers should not hang or try to dock on a hybrid.
