  1. I can see why you'd skip over that. Nobody likes to be mocked. But, then, I looked at it another way. Why does Robert get so much vitriol? There are others on here who are passionate advocates for their suspect. There are others on here who will massage any facts so they fit the result they want. There are others on here who disagree with others and will argue about it. They don't get the kind of response Robert gets. Why is that? I think the post from Yellow Oxide pretty much nailed the perception others have of Robert. Not sure if seeing that can make others disagree without being disagreeable, but it might be a start. "Satire is a genre of literature, and sometimes graphic and performing arts, in which vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, corporations, government or society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be humorous, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon and as a tool to draw attention to both particular and wider issues in society." but I'm sure you know that. others, ... not so much? Thus, posting the lyrics to the Hallelujah Chorus after one of Blevins long sermons about trust of people in Cooperlandt Uber Alles, makes perfect sense, since it is the 434th time RMB has posted the exact same post in 4 years ... this the lyrics are a "device" but over RMB's head so he complains while other people think it is appropriate and hilarious! Another way of looking at this is: spam generates spam. Spam = mc(2) ! Well, at least someone gets it. Carry on, sir. We are grateful.

  3. I also think some people, because of personal issues and not so much about their interest in Cooper...play dirty tricks. Dirty tricks are unethical, duplicitous, slanderous or illegal tactics employed to destroy or diminish the effectiveness of political or business opponents. The term "dirty trick" can also be used to refer to an underhanded technique to get ahead of an opponent (such as sabotage or disregarding rules of engagement). ( wiki) dirty tricks noun Informal. 1. Politics. unethical or illegal campaign practices or pranks intended to disrupt or sabotage the campaigns of opposing candidates. 2. any similar practices carried out against rival countries or corporations for espionage or commercial purposes. Dictionary.com uh, you are running for office? we naysayers are political or business rivals, engaged in the practice of espionage?
  4. I don't know. Maybe I made up the word. People do that in the English language all the time. No wait...you were quoting Georger there so I guess I didn't. And I wasn't referring to your posts anyway, but Georger's. Check-in time at the Reality Hotel for you. Why should I possibly care about your opinion on anything? I don't know you. (*laughs*) As far as I know you could be a sixth-grader from Lawrence, Kansas playing on his discount tablet.
  5. There were no song lyrics. No "personal crud" about how you make your living. No "copying over" of your posts. Perhaps Georger is correct; "Robert Blevins" is some automated, "preplanned" program of responses? Run by various folks at AB? Anyhow, Robert, or whoever this is, how does a professional editor use the word "preplanned", or some variant, when anyone with a brain - or google- knows that such a word is redundant?
  6. The problem I have with this behavior (I don't have a problem anymore with the alternate site itself) is that it reveals two separate internet personalities. One legit, one rather vindictive. Because, well, people who question my statements, beliefs, writings, etc., are, well, yes, vindictive. Really, they are. ( And they are so.. well, mean, yes, mean about it, with their "facts" and "research' and adherence to that "logic" thing. Jo would understand, I am sure.) I am never wrong. Ok, yes, i made a few mistakes....ok, a lot of mistakes...ok, well, there was the time I overstated the value of KC's "valuable" coin and stamp collection, by, well, ..ok a lot, like 100 percent? 1000 percent? Maybe i should have double checked that one. Or that time I couldn't understand those "deeds of trust", and those mortgage things. It looked really impressive, and, well, "cash " purchases" really helped the story. Sue me in the World Court, already. Those comic books that, well, weren't even written when I claimed someone saw them on an island. The time I thought a river flowed upstream. The money found in the nearby tree trunks, which, well, is probably just hearsay, since, well, I have no real proof. And, you know, that Geestman guy is the real liar. Come on, I have called him that many times, and he has never sued me. So, he must be running scared. If only I could get the FBI to put some pressure on him. Ok, not like, say, waterboarding him, or anything like that, cause, well, i am a liberal and a Democrat and antiwar, and all that, but, yes, sometimes its ok, when you are on a search for truth, like I am, to bend the rules, just a little, isn't it? Listen, I hoped everything I said could have been true, and, ..I meant well, really, I did. And that's got to count for something. As my idol, Stuart Smalley, often said: "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me." The "vindictive" ones here - you know who you are... and so do I, and I am watching you...but no, it's nothing personal, really - and the ones online - one time I had to go online at Amazon, and, well, kind of attack and harass someone who questioned my work, and write an article about him at Newsvine -yes, thats my site, why do people keep bring up graphomania and typomania? - and try to have him banned, because, well, he didn't like my book, and raised all these unpleasant issues and also questioned my sincerity and professionalism; hey, I have edited many books, am a publisher, and, well, I can't help it if I my coworkers go online and support my work, can I? And their work too? We have a right to be heard. "Shill" is such a, well, vindictive word. That Farflung was so touchy about that whole thing. I am just here to find the truth. Ok, well, where was I? Yes, that other site, yeah, I don't have a problem with it, anymore, and really, I never wanted to be there, even though, yes, I did sneak in there, and use a fake name, and a whole bunch of other things....but, well, they were, well, vindictive, and I deserved the right to expose them and post those screenshots, just like when... ok, like, when i pretended to be someone else on Facebook, so i could talk to Marla, and post copies of her posts, because, well, I am interested in truth, and sometimes you have to lie to get to the truth. Ok, well, you understand why I can't tell you anything about our continuing investigation of that liar, Bernie Geestman, but, yes, trust me, we are gathering evidence left and right, every day, and the FBI will be eating crow ( and the rest of you too, you intellectual know it alls and you wage earning "sheeple") and the truth will be known. Ok. Go Seahawks!
  7. Up until that point, it seemed like the whole thing had some pre-planning and education to it. From the pen of Robert Blevins, professional editor and writer. Who has mentioned here, many times - and probably, yes, preplanned it - his skills and experience as a professional editor and writer. We "wage slave", "wage earner sheeple" should be greatful to have such a scribe in our midst. However, there is this thing, called Google, which even a simpleton - such as me, obviously, yes - can somehow master. (hey, i confess, it took several years, a few classes at the local community college, etc., and it was hard to find the time, because, of course, yes, i was, busy at my "wage slave/sheeple" job) However, i digress. Let's cut to the chase. But, first - i know, I am going back on my word....but, that does seem to be the pattern around here, no? Irregardless, as I like to say, because its not a word, even though lots of people do use it, which makes it right, I guess, because popularity is always more important, than say, perfection? VHS did beat out Betamax, after all. And, most importantly, lots of people use this strange - to me, at least - word, "preplanned". And its variants, "preplan, preplanning." So it must be correct? But, i still had my doubts. And that "google" thing. And, yes, lots and lots of free time on my hands. ( which, it turned out, i didn't really need.) So, "preplanning", and that Google thing. Imagine my surprise when I entered "preplanning" and "redundant" into that magical box, and pressed enter. Alas, within 0.81 seconds (no, not 8.1. seconds, a figure my exwife seemed to mention a lot; please don't ask why) 409,000 (yes that's over four hundred thousand - looks like google does some, yes, preplanning to get these things ready ) entries on, yes, the redundancy of said usage. See, a plan is something made in , yes, advance. Before. But, let's let this (free, yes) online style manual explain it: preplanning Planning means laying a course. Preplanning is redundant. Replace preplanning with planning. See advance planning. Wow, that was easy And, yes, there are others. 409,000. (ok, i feel better now. though, maybe two cups of coffee laced with bourbon was not the best breakfast after all?)
  8. As some of us ( I hope?) recall, Margie was the first woman to drive a team of four Clydesdales. This, of course, was indicative (to some, at least) of her special Spidey senses and skills, which included either: a) an ability to formulate ambiguous - but promising, to some- answers to leading questions from a desperate interviewer, and able to sense his need to keep - dare i say it - "beating his dead horse" of a story? b) a talent for recognizing an opportunity for, granted, on a small scale, late life fame? infamy? (hey the Kardashians, and Rome, weren't built in day. today: National Geographic Channel. Tomorrow: Oprah?) c) an instinct for self preservation, which led to the classic "false confessions" often seen in the old days, when police interrogations, went on for days?. (see Justice Brennan's dissent in Colorado vs Connelly, or just go to wiki. also see reporter's oft stated desire to "pressure", well, just about everyone who doesn't respond to his questions with the "right" answers?) d) ability to sense potential i.e. a return to her glorious days of yore, recreating her horse driving skills, with the help of said reporter, during an upcoming Auburn Days Festival? with generous corporate sponsorship (and free beer) from, yes, the Budweiser Corporation, which, oddly - or perhaps not so oddly - is owned by a company based in both a french speaking, Dan Cooper comic reading, country, Belgium, and also in Brazil, a country with no extradition treaty with the U.S.? e) a talent for cooking a tasty Thanksgiving turkeys - the odor of which led Kenny back to civilization? f) a photographic memory, which allowed her to remember, in vivid details, everything from tie tacs - and ties, of course- and toupees and every Thanksgiving dinner she had attended in her life, dating back to her time in her mother's womb, and all in attendance (and especially those who were not? g) an ability to see into the future, and direct Kenny to the Tina Bar location in 1971? h) telekinetic powers? i) all of the above? forget who had the "hairy arms"?
  9. uh Mr. Burnworth was discussed ( and discounted) about page 700 of this thread, I do believe. ??
  10. Maybe it will work now. The closing "quote" was on the wrong side of the "/url". Robert99 got it. thanks. is that Sluggo's site?
  11. I too got snookered into buying a new Energy Star Maytag washer Jo. The reason it uses less energy is it controls the mix of hot and cold water and NEVER lets you use really hot water to wash. I got online and found the schematics of the temp control circuitry and have figured out how to spoof the thermistor water temp sensor signal so that I can get hot water when I want it. Back to the topic of Cooper. I've been trying to find more info on Norton Thomas without much luck. I don't suppose Duane knew him. I've also been trying to find any info that might verify the claims that some kids found tattered twenties at a different spot on the river and before the Tena bar find. No luck. I wonder if Galen has given up on Gossett? His long promised book isn't happening, he hasn't found any stashed Norjack cash in safe deposit boxes and Blevin's photo of Gossett close to the time of Norjack sure doesn't match the description of Cooper, too heavy. But I guess its possible to change weight fast if you want to. One guy who Bruce and Snowman researched was Don Burnworth, a United Airlines Captain who had an amazingly detailed knowledge of 727 systems. His photo looks quite close to the FBI sketches: http://greygooseadventures.blogspot.com/2009/11/38-years-ago-northwest-airlines-flight.html*** I cant find anything verifying the claim that Burnworth had military parachuting experience, maybe Bruce knows. 377 thanks for the tip, but can't make link work? off topic are there really no extant stratocruisers? only guppies?
  12. More talk about litigation that never happens. The Vortex has turned into a no-sue zone. That's not a bad thing. 377 Strictly a subjective opinion, but I think that if Geestman were truly innocent, he would have called me up and screamed bloody murder once he got his six free copies of Blast. He also knew they were advance copies I had specially proof-ordered through Lightning Source. In other words, he knew the book wasn't being released publicly until January 2011, yet his came in October right after the Decoded shoot. (The original edition was canceled months earlier, before even thirty copies sold. He never saw it or knew it existed.) And all this was four years ago next month. Not a peep out of him since. well, he obviously is guilty then. (though i am not sure of what, exactly. not answering your questions? not taking you seriously? < i wouldn't> the whole endeavour is kind of surreal. you have no evidence of anything. why would he have to "provide an alibi"? what is he accused of? by which prosecutor?)
  13. Right. That's funny. If it were an easy question to answer, I would have figured it out by now. Book says: We don't know for sure. Sometimes I say we're working on it, though. This long after-the-fact, I figure that if Kenny was Cooper the only way to determine this one way or another is through reliable witness testimony that pressures Bernie Geestman or his ex-wife into spilling the beans. Either that, or Bernie explains a few things he's said in the past without those explanations being filled with lies. This possibility, that Geestman or his ex-wife could be pressured to speak truthfully about 11/24/71 might be closer than you think. As I said, we're working on it. How , exactly, are you going to "pressure " these two folks? (it sounds like extortion)
  14. Mr. Blevins attacking the messenger(s) again. No surprise there. Let's deal with the facts please. 1) $400,000 coin collection? NO 2) Cash purchases of house and land? NO. Supporting documents? NO. 3) Dan Cooper comics at Sheyma (sp.?) air base? NO. Not possible. 4) Toupee? NO. No pictures, only hearsay. 5) Loans? NO. No proof of beneficiaries purchasing...anything. 6) Money found in nearby tree trunks? NO. No proof offered. ( see. nothing personal, Mr. Blevins. Just the facts.)
  15. mr shutter: blevins is near the "endgame" as i believe they say in chess? ( but i think you realized that long ago?) he will flog this dead horse, i.e. the new mystery witness, for a few more months, and then look for some new snake oil to sell.
