  1. having a background in psychology this is pretty interesting. I would like to see it replicated using data from persons who routinely engage in other risk activities such as compare rookie firefighters, police, medics to veterans. It seems to me that the ability to cognitively compensate for the increased stress reaction may be a trait specific to individuals who engage in these occupations or activities. Is there a correlation between this trait and others that may have predictive value? Also kudos for getting published while in undergrad. Nice work!
