  1. I came down with my mum for my 16th birthday and we had a fabulous time. We both chose to do the AFF (solo) jump, so there was obviously a good amount of class-time before the actual jump. I didn't know what to expect of the class, as it could have been quite boring, but it was well-taught and I felt prepared when it was time to put the learning to use. My mum and I both got a bit nervous before/while we were in the plane, but the instructors were great at calming any fears and making the whole experience a blast. Originally (before the jump) I had no plans to work on getting my license - I only did AFF because I didn't really want to jump with someone else. However, as soon as we left the hangar, I was already planning on going back to do the Category B jump and trying to complete the license. I just had such a great experience, and I would definitely recommend Start Skydiving to anyone who wants to skydive.
