I saw my dad skydive when I was a young girl & I've wanted to do it ever since. Well, I finally did it! I was missing out these past 10 years! Start Skydiving made my experience great! Staff were personable and fun fun fun! Training was a brief video (about 15-20 minutes) since we did tandem. We had to wait to jump on account of the weather, but there were plenty of things to do to pass the time. They serve GOOD food at a good price as well. Suiting up was organized and timely, but the suits are HOT, so wear light comfy clothing on hot days. The plane ride up was longer than expected, but you don't even notice because even that is a fun and exciting part of the experience. I learned on the way up from my tandem instructor (Paul) what to do when we jump out and on our way down. He was very aware of safety and I felt comfortable with him. (I had been worried with the weight limits because I'm a chunky girl, but that feeling quickly dissipated) We even flipped several times upon coming out of the plane! LOVED IT! He kept me informed on the way down of anything I needed to know as well. I landed wanting to do it again! My photo/videographers name was..Rob, I think. He was great. The pictures and video were amazing! I recommend getting them to any one who goes, especially if it is your first time. If you're thinking about going, GO, & Start Skydiving is the place to jump! Not only was it safe and a blast...the prices are a STEAL compared to others. I will be back!
