This was my first tandem sky dive. I am 70 years old and I have triple by pass surgery and also two surgical procedures on my back. I am stating this for those senior citizen that feel that life has passed them by, because of their ailments. I went to the facility, after a 3 1/2 drive to observe and inspect the facility, prior to scheduling my first flight. I had called the day prior, and spoke to a receptionist who was so kind and responsive to every question I had about the facility. I just had to visit. Upon arrival, I introduced myself to the receptionist and asked that I be given a tour of the facility. A manger was introduced to me and asked if I wanted a ten cent tour. I replied I wanted a fifty cent tour. He laughed and gave me a most informative tour of the facility. I was so very impressed with the freshly painted buildings, the viewing area for guests, the almost militaristic neatness of the entire facility. Up to date aircraft and overall rating of five star to everything I observed. Most of all the friendliness of the staff. They were very responsive to each of my questions and in just a short period of time I was asking. when can I fly?. I was given a spot that very afternoon. Why did one who only came only to observer in hoping to just observe and inspect suddenly, ask to fly. Professionalism, by the staff, friendliness beyond expectations, safety and exceptional instructions of the flight delivered with precise expertise in such away that any apprehension I had was dissipated in an instant. Folks if you have that dream of sky diving, especially you seniors, this is to place to go. I would like to thank the camera girl especially, the fellow from New Zealand, who I flew in tandem with, and the manager and all others who made this one of the most unbelievable moments of my life. I would like to mention their names, but will protect their privacy, if they read this or you take that first step as I did, you will soon know their names. Notice through out my comments I use the word fly, not jump.
