Reserve? No reason to quit the jump....

Recommended Posts

At least if you're the camera flyer ;)

This weekend I had to return the borrowed Tri 120 I'd been jumping at the yearly CF Spectacle here at Teuge. My own Tri120 was unavailabe, a Lightning 126 was hard to come by, and I really needed a 120 something canopy for this. My choice was between a BT Pro 120, Stiletto 120 and a demo PD126R. I picked the reserve, a bright orange to fit the national soccer craze :S and jumped it 6 times. Result: some pretty decent video B|

It opened like a Lightning, ie, pretty hard, it landed like a bad Lightning (don't know how many jumps on this) and flew like a, well, slightly overloaded F111 7cell in turbulence ;) Not quite a stable as a Lightning or Tri, but all in all, if you end up underneath a PD-R as a camera flyer, no excuse to stop filming :D Although of course THIS reserve had dive loops...

Some pics of the CF Spectacle (and other jumps) here:
