Maximus1 0 #1 September 15, 2003 When shooting a range of video and digital stills in the following priority: 1. Freefly (head down, etc) 2. Tandems 3. Big-way / competition What is the best helmet configuration? A. Side mount video (PC) + top mount still B. Top mount video (TRV) + front mount still C. Top mount video (PC) + top mount still - Maximus It's not that I'm afraid to die, I just don't want to be there when it happens.

fundgh 0 #4 September 18, 2003 I would think that side mounting a PC would allow you to turn the camera over for HD easier, and would be a preferable way of mounting camera for FF....FUN FOR ALL!
lewmonst 0 #5 September 21, 2003 You should post this in Photo. It obviously isn't just about the best camera setup for freeflying. That being said, any setup can work for anything, but what's best for one isn't for the other. I like my sidemount video for freeflying, and topmount for tandems and bigways. I only have one still setup on my flattop narrow, and the still camera is frontmounted with my PC video top-mounted... it's not necessarily the best, it just works for me. peace lew edit: oh, you did post it in Photo... good.http://www.exitshot.com
