jimmytavino 16 #1 June 23, 2009 so i opened my HC-3 to put in a new mini dv tape, and now it won't click to engage,,, and then activate the motor to lower the carriage assembly.... seems like something isn't mating up. When i "Push" on the part of the carriage which says 'push'...it just springs back out... those assemblies seem awfully fragile and so i don't wanna force anything. is there something obvious that i am missing??? tried removing and re-installing the battery... no go. i think the problem is more mechanical,,, than electrical. as though something isn't catching,, including the switch which signals a motor to lower the tape... help....... jt Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
