airborne82nd 0 #1 October 10, 2006 question is say i record with a hc42 or hc 96 ( higher end camcorder ) then i take that tape and then dub it using like an hc20 or pc109. will i loose the great image quality from the hc40 or 96 and it will give me the quality of the camera dubbbing it?? ir is the camera dubbing irrelavent and the quality from the recorder camera remains?? let me know and thatnk you
FeFe 0 #2 October 10, 2006 dubbing through firewire gives you an exact copy of the original, so recorder is irrelevant
airborne82nd 0 #3 October 10, 2006 what about dubbing through video cables and s video like for a sima dubbing machine????
dragon2 0 #4 October 10, 2006 Quotewhat about dubbing through video cables and s video like for a sima dubbing machine???? Then you get either VHS or S-VHS quality, depending on the lowest quality cables used. Analog quality is way less than digital so why make copies that way?!? ciel bleu, Saskia
airborne82nd 0 #5 October 10, 2006 we dub through svideo and av cables through a sima board and then to a dvd burner. my hc 40 only serves asa a video flying camera the remote control doesnt work its useless for dubbing so i have another camcorder a jvc that i will use for dubbing. ill take the tape out of the hc 40 and put it into the jvc and dub that way. they both have 680,000 Pixel CCD but the hc 40 has a 1/5 imager and the jvc a 1/6 will there be a difference? will i loose quality in image on the dvd????
