NeilQ 0 #1 August 11, 2003 Is anyone jumping the newish Panasonic NVGS 70 (may have a different model number stateside)? It's the small 3 CCD model. Would be grateful for any input good or bad. Does it do that out of focus thing on opening a la PC120 and others? I'm looking to use it primarily for BASE so don't want fuzzy opening footage Thanks Play safe Neil
parachutesj 0 #2 August 12, 2003 QuoteDoes it do that out of focus thing on opening a la PC120 and others? I jump a PC120 and only once had an "out of focus" due to sun reflections on my filter... What is that about? Never heard of a problem like this...anybody else? Steffen

tpusztai 0 #5 September 3, 2003 there's no problem with the pc120. I used to fly a pc110. Now a use a pc120, and it is true with both cams: the wideangle makes the difference. the lens on both cams take excellent pictures of the hardest openings, but using the kenko 0.42 has this effect sometimes, but again, only at hard openings. however, when using a sony 0.7 w/a it never occured. if someone is interested, i have a relatively small slider, so i needed to learn packing it accordingly. till then, I gathered some useful info to Neil
