Krishan 0 #1 April 20, 2001 For those of you that are familiar with the ParaMount System 3 Camera helmets. I understand that they dont have holes in the mounting plate to bolt the camera on to it, but they use some sort of double sided locking tape and the strap that goes over the top of the camera.How secure is this setup? Nash 0 #2 April 20, 2001 It is secure. The camera-lok tape is like super velcro and, combined with the strap, keeps the camera plenty secure. But is a pain to take on and off. The way it works is that one side of the tape is on the mount and you have to stick the matching side on the bottom of your camera. Then you have to press the camera on to the mount (hard) so that the 2 camera lok tape strips lock together. And when you want to remove the camera from the mount,you have to put a lot of pressure on the camera to disengage the tape.So in summary, it is a fine system if you want to leave the camera on the helmet all the time.
