Threads all read

Lately when I go to read post I get back to the forum and all of the post are marked as read. I wouldn't usually care but, as diving season approaches the threads in the saftey section and the rigging section are a must.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I've noted this problem here as have others. It doesn't seem to be a priority however.

You're right, it isn't a high priority. When you use cookies to track stuff it's almost impossible to cater for all the differnet browsers, operating systems and security settings out there.

My current approach is to go to a forum,
say safety and training, in one window,
and then just scroll up and down in that
window, but don't left click to individual
threads in that window.

I right click individual threads into a second
window, read them and then close that
second window.

That helps me keep my place in the list
of threads.

When I've read all I can handle, I reload
that first window just to see whether anything
new has arrived and then go down to the
bottom left and mark all threads read.

that is a very good idea. I think I'll use that from now on. Nothing like using loosing your place in the threads when reading a massive post.
