usedtajump 1 #3 July 22, 2005 337, since the link doesn't seem to work, are these aircraft you're talking about resemble DC-6s that have had the front 1/3rd modified to resemble a 747? If so, there were four of them that sat for three years where I worked at Love Field in Dallas in the early 70s. Slowly, they were made airworthy and flown away. Always wondered what happened to them. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
377 21 #4 July 22, 2005 Yeah, they all flew for Falcon Air in TX and this was one of them, hence the FA reg no. and Fat Annie name. Surprsingly they suffer very little in performance compared to a stock DC 4. Can't wait to fly in this RARE plane.2018 marks half a century as a skydiver.
