florida drop zone road trip

so I'm gonna make the boogie in clewiston in late jan. the boogie's over the 26th. flying back out of ft lauderdale on the afternoon of the 28th. so what dz's should I hit with 2 days to kill and not run over the 1400 mile weekly total on the rental car. so what dz's are between ft. lauderdale and clewiston? surely I pass one or two on the way

i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. Naw I wasn't low I'm just such a big guy I look closer than I really am .

Sorry man, I hate to tell you, but there are no DZ's between those two points. If I'm not mistaken, the closet DZ will be south west of Lauderdale in Homestead; Skydive Miami about 115 miles from Clewiston. You also have Skydive SW Florida going the other direction, 80 miles west of you.

Well if you get a chance swing by Palatka... its approximately 293 miles from Clewiston. We are having a collegiate boogie from Jan.1-4 if you postpone your trip...

You should pass Sebastian and Titusville on the way as well... you should definately atleast do a jump at one of those two places, considering the awesome scenery. Sebastian is approximately 100 miles on I-95 from Clewiston, Titusville is about 120.
