gweeks 1 #1 August 20, 2008 Skydive Delmarva is hosting the 3rd Annual Mike Schultz Skydiving Skills Fun Meet & Chili Cookoff on the weekend of September 13-14 starting at 8 AM. This is a 2-day, 6-jump, 3-event meet for mixed experience level jumpers organized in teams of four. The 3 events are: Speed Formation/Formation Skydiving, Formation Skydiving Exits, and Team Accuracy which is a simulated demo jump involving spotting, pattern discipline, and landing accuracy. Minimum 75 jumps and USPA "A" license required. Teams should be composed of the following experience levels: 1 novice jumper - <124 RW jumps 1 intermediate jumper - 125-399 RW jumps 1 intermediate jumper - 400-999 RW jumps 1 advanced jumper - 1000+ RW jumps There can be some flexibility in the jump numbers but the idea is to pair newer jumpers with more experienced jumpers. You can sign up as a team or as an individual. Individuals will be assigned to a team on the day of the event. To sign up, please email webmaster -AT- skydivedelmarva.com. We'd like to see some faces from other area DZ's to engender some competition and camaraderie. This is a parachuting skills demonstration and development FUN event named for Mike Schultz, who is still very much alive! Good sportsmanship will serve to honor a man with a long history in the Eastern Region.
