kallend 1,853 #1 March 3, 2003 I updated the Powerpoint presentation on exit separation that is on my web site, and changed the freefall simulation program slightly so that the presentation sets program parameters automatically to illustrate various points on the slides. I also added explanatory notes to more of the slides. www.iit.edu/~kallend/skydive/ ... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. skr 1 #4 March 5, 2003 Thank you, John. I've sent many people there. I ran a lot of possibilities myself when you first put it up. I think going there and running some typical situations ought to be a license requirement. In fact what about writing to the Safety and Training committee and running a copy on uspa.org ?? Some day you're going to graduate from official academia and that simulation program really ought to be part of the heritage. Skr
gemini 0 #5 March 5, 2003 Thanks John. I had seen an earlier version. All students should see the animated version. The link to the 3D program is broken. I note the co is out of business. Know where we can get a copy? Blues skies, Jim Blue skies, Jim
