Seattle???

Recommended Posts

Going to be in Seattle for a couple of days in September. Might have a chance to go sneak in a couple of jumps while there on Saturday. Kapowsin or Snohomish? Why?

Thanks in advance> Blue 111-

The scenery in Snohomish is awesome - puget sound to the west, cascade range to the east, Mt Baker north, Mt Rainier south. Nice people, that's where I did my tandem that got me hooked on this sport. I hope to get back and do some jumps there this summer. I have heard good things about Kaposin too though. Do em both B|

Also depends on where you'll be staying in the area. Snohomish is a bit closer to Seattle proper and the northern/eastern 'burbs, but if you're down south, Kapowsin might be closer. I've only jumped at Snoho so far so I'm a bit biased towards it, but have also heard very good things about Kapowsin.

Either way you're going to get some spectacular views (especially if it's a nice day, which there's still a pretty good chance of in September).

As much as I'd like, both are not possible. One or two jumps is probably all I'd be able to squeeze in. (Going with wuffo friends and Sat. is our only free day). Read where one is 35 and one is 20 from Seattle so distance isn't a factor (I drive 128 to go jump). As long as they are friendly and safe I'll be happy.:)
