Skydiving in Germany

Recommended Posts

Greetings!
I am fixing to visit Germany end of August and (of course) want to make some jumps in the home-country.
Can anyone recommend dropzones? Looking for everything that has a bigger plane than a Cessna and is freefly friendly. (will be in the Frankfurt area)
Cheeers and blue ones,
cG

Wie geht's Mark! When I was in Germany I jumped with Skydive Nuggets in Leutkirsch. They had an otter when I was there. They are USPA affiliated, and I had a good time there. They are in Southern Germany, not too far from Switzerland, 120km SW of Munich. You can see the Alps at altitude! If you decide to go, snag me a bumper sticker and bring it to AOT! ;)

Not sure how to make it clicky. [:/]

Tag, cG!

I'm sure that there are closer places, but the place that I jumped at in Kassel-Calder had a twin Otter, a great atmosphere and a fantastic view. You should talk to Peanut, he has jumped at several DZs in the area.

Some people never go crazy. What truly boring lives they must lead.

An Otter would be nice...wouln't mind a porter either.
I can do Kassel....It's like my trip from San Antonio to Houston every weekend, just without speed limits ;)....
Greetings Steve! I will see about that bumper sticker.

Will be in Limburg - just in between Franfurt and Koeln.

Klaus, danke fuer die imposante Karte - haette ich ja nie gedacht!

Thanks all!
