airtwardo 6 #1 March 4, 2004 The USPA has gone with a new carrier for demo insurance... The coverage looks to be the same as in the past. Cost appears to be somewhat lower... There will also be tighter regulation on the issuing of Demonstration Coverage. The PRO Rating is still in effect, but further requirements and endorsement will be needed to comply. The entire list is not available or complete yet, I'm told the executive committee is still working on that end of it. The USPA is no longer going to be involved in the issuing of policies, The agent is to be contacted in regard to each policy issued and event covered. I have a copy of the application form in front of me, and interestingly, one of the FIRST questions is whether you have filed a claim in the past... If so, a complete report is requested. The new company is; Insurance Technologies & Programs Inc. 8455 Colesville Road, Suit 1025 Silver Springs, Md. 20910 ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
