lazaryu 0 #1 March 14, 2006 I was thinking is it possible to travel the world with tandem rating? By that i mean to live and work in USA for a year and than maybe New Zeland.... Is it possible to make enough money for living out of tandems and see the world? I need advice from someone more expirienced! Thanks!
MagicGuy 0 #2 March 14, 2006 I've heard a lot of people on here say pretty much the total opposite. Plan on eating lots of Ramen noodles and possibly being bored with the sport after doing soo many tandem jumps. But I'm not a tandem instructor, so I can't really say. linestretch 0 #3 March 15, 2006 Yes, it's VERY possible....I got just a small taste of it and have good friends that do it year round. But living the life has it's drawbacks. You have to live cheaper, and really love the sport.my pics & stuff!
diablopilot 2 #4 March 15, 2006 The big problems you'lkl run into is you may have to pick up a rating for each country you visit, and you'll have to figure out how to be legal to work in each country. Otherwise, if you don't mind Ramen Noodle, staying in dives, and working your ass off....it will be some of the most fun times ever....---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
