sky-pimp 0 #1 September 22, 2008 I have a query I did my first tube jump last week and all was good. After talking to a few guys about tube jumping and seeing the video it came apparent that the tube i jumped spun in the air flow , it was allowed to do this by a connection between the handle and the tube . Now some of the guys said they had jumped tubes that could not spin due to the handle being connected directly to the tube's base ring . After thinking about it would a spinning tube not be the best idea?? all input welcome before i jump it again YeHaaaaaaaaaaa
Squeak 17 #2 September 23, 2008 i have not jumped one with a swivel but the fixed ones have never been an issueYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
blackfox 0 #3 September 25, 2008 sometimes teams put their name on the tube, so in that case it would be better for the tube to not spin so that the camera can read what is written on the tube more clearly on the other hand it seams like a spinning tube could be better because it might stay slightly more ridged
