The agency plans a public release of the film about two Central Intelligence Agency officers captured during a secret mission in 1952 and held for years. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the film under the Freedom of Information Act. The hourlong film, "Extraordinary Fidelity," blends documentary footage and re-enactments to tell the story of the officers shot down trying to recover a spy working for the CIA in the Manchuria region of northeastern China......" The CIA posted the film on their Youtube channel yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/ciagov#p/u/0/Z0Mh7EiXRJI "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG

I'd consider that 'abandon' I assume they tried diplomatic means like prisoner swaps to get them out. Just started watching the film. Since the documentary was paid for by the CIA, it will be slanted in their favor. RonD1120 58 #7 June 5, 2011 QuoteThe documentary is very well made. Some pretty good video of the Fulton Skyhook system. Definitely a prototype system. The Fulton system was a bit different, utilized a helium balloon. I thought I saw the first live pick-up with the Fulton at HRT in 1962-63. I was surprised to see it was an operational tool ten years earlier.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant.
