i am planning on flying in a month with Frontier airlines and i was wondering if anyone has flown with them lately and if they allowed your rig on the plane. Also what did they say about the cypress?? i would appreciate any and all experiances, not just with frontier but with any airline

The Airline never needs to know thats its carried on since Airtec got the DOT approval not to many years ago. Security at the airport is the biggest concern. I just flew 2 weeks ago and leaving it was a 20 minute check since the xray did'nt match the Cypres card. coming back through Houston, but the gear bag on the xray, picked it up and kept walking... Just travel low profile, i wore a skydive shirt in houston and was not even looked at, in Cinci they inspected my closing pin necklace while I had a hooded sweatshirt and jacket on...

Well... since I needed something to keep me warm and after travleing enough you learn little tricks like layering so you can turn a layer into a pillow, the airport money in a carryon bag and other tricks... and besides, I pretty much talked the MP into a tandem so it was'nt all wasted time.
