jackofclubs 0 #1 December 16, 2011 Hi there, Please excuse this off topic post. I am a student from Ireland currently doing an engineering project for college. As part of the design we need to be able to cut two cords during each run of the experiment. The cypres cutters are perfect for the job but unfortunately the expense is too much for us to be able to do enough tests to make sure everything works properly. I recently met a guy who told me that they expire and so need to be replaced so the module can be used safely as a cut-away mechanism. After a few further calls I have been told that the argus cutters are no longer allowed and so are useless to anyone who has them. Therefore I was wondering if anyone had any old cutters of any type that they would be willing to part with in the name of science and engineering? We don't need the full modules, just the actual cutters and of course would pay any shipping required. We would be very grateful if anyone could help and if you like we could offer post your name on our project website as a sponsor? Would anyone be interested?
