TikiMan 0 #1 May 28, 2011 Had my protrack for about 6 months and the last time i used it worked fine on the ground then at 1000' it beeped then beeped every 10-15 sec till altitude. when I landed I replaced the batteries assuming that must be the problem however it still does the same thing occasionally flashing "ERR 2" Any thoughts? erdnarob 1 #2 May 29, 2011 Send it back to Larsen and Brusgaard in Denmark, the manufacturers. You shouldn't be disappointed by the service.Learn from others mistakes, you will never live long enough to make them all.
Tommock 0 #3 May 30, 2011 I couldn't find anything about err 2 in the protrack manual but I think my optima manual says to reset the device if it's displaying err 2. Not sure if the same is true for the protrack. Did you remember to wait 2 minutes between taking out the old batteries and putting in the new ones? Might have something to do with it. Otherwise yes L&B service is the best. I bought a used pro dytter that lacked the small springs. L&B just sent me new ones for free.
TikiMan 0 #4 May 30, 2011 Thanks! Ill try the batteries again I didn't wait 2 mins. if not, back to L and B. I searched everywhere as well, forums, google, manuals....no luck.
