Prince's Musicology single any good?

I used to dig prince way back in the day, during his 80's and early 90's phases.

I'm interested to know what people think of his latest work Musicology. It has been hailed by critics as a masterpiece.

Personally, I think the drum sounds are cool but all in all, it sounds like your run of the mill old school R&B knock off. There is no hook, and the chorus is bland.

I don't listen to much R&B, I feel Princes best work was more Rock/Pop based.

Prince's R&B phase has always (in my opinion) sucked.
