gerryfuss 0 #1 April 17, 2004 I went out to the DZ on thursday hoping to make my first jump of the year and the plane was gone. "It's being serviced, but will be back tomorrow" I was told. Okay. Friday: Arrived at the DZ, "the plane is on it's way back, should be here in half an hour" o.k. . The plane arrived all right but I seemed to be the only sole there that actually wanted to jump . "Need a min of 3 to go up" , well I wasn't going to pay for 3 slots, so guess what? I didn't jump. Kinda pissed me off. Weather sucks here today plus I'm studing for exams anyway. Hopefully I can jump next weekend. I ended up chatting with the rigger there who was very nice, then we watched a freefly video so it wasn't all bad, but I still would have rather jumped . oh well............... gremlin 0 #2 April 17, 2004 Don't worry about it. I came the the USA to jump my ass off for 2 weeks, ended up injuring myself 4 days in and now wont be able to jump for the next couple of months. Just look forward to the next weekend and waste your time at work dreaming about all the points you are going to turn. I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....
