kingbunky 3 #1 April 20, 2009 can someone with a lotus 170 tell me how big their slider is? i'm asking because mine is very snivelly opening (1000 ft +/- 200) consistently. i bought the canopy new and have 250 jumps on it, and nothing i have done with pack jobs has had a significant effect on it. i load it about 1.3:1. what happens, as far as i can see, is the bag lifts off, the lines release properly and i have a canopy at the right stage of deployment up till then. the slider stays at the canopy for what seems like forever, then when it finally comes down, the canopy will inflate and take off in a random direction. i'm thinking that a slider that is too big may be the cause. mine is about 25" x 31". just for comparison, since the canopy is often compared to a sabre 2 170, how big is the slider on one of them? i've sent brian an email, but haven't heard back yet."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart."
