mnealtx 0 #1 September 17, 2005 I'll be making a trip tomorrow to Aerodrom Stenkovitz (sp?) outside of Skopje, Macedonia. Gear available is: Kluz 1 (~270 ft^2 7 cell main) Info at bottom of page Kluz 4 (cant find any info about it) PD 180 (a bit small for my weight/experience) Raider Parafoil Blue Track was mentioned as well. The pilot I spoke to didn't know what container systems were being used. Gear rental is 5-8 Euro / jump. Jumpship is an AN-2 (I *KNEW* this plane was going to come back and haunt me!!) Jump tickets: 20 Euro to 1000m 22 Euro to 2000m 25 Euro to 2500m I'll be checking the place out, looking at the gear and deciding whether or not I feel safe jumping their equipment. Review will follow on Monday. Now, I just have to finish work today.....Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
heidihagen 0 #2 September 17, 2005 i've heard jumping in colorado, arizona, etc. is much different from jumping in tx. why is that? i know it has something to do with being so close to sea level... but what? this would apply over there too....i just never bothered to ask until now. how easy is it to adjust to jumping in diffrent areas?i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce
mnealtx 0 #3 September 17, 2005 Yeah, the density altitude plays a difference. I'd much rather be landing at 500 above sea level than 5000 feet above sea level!!!Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
