jumpchikk 0 #1 October 3, 2006 I was wondering if anyone has been to either the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal in Orlando or the Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens in Tampa? Trying to make a decision here for this weekend. Thanks!!
BillyVance 34 #2 October 3, 2006 Been to Universal, but not Busch... The Tower of Terror at Universal (if that is what it was called) was pretty good, however, its been 10 years...."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

jumpchikk 0 #4 October 3, 2006 QuoteGo to Halloween Horror Nights, its great! Was it really scary?? What about the lines?
apollard24 0 #5 October 3, 2006 The lines werent really that bad but I opted for the fast pass thing where you go to the front of all the lines for like an extra $30.00. The costumes and props are look very real. I like scary stuff so it wasnt too scary for me but the girl I was with almost ripped my shirt off when someone was chasing her with a chainsaw..LOLBreathe out so I can breathe you in... jumpchikk 0 #6 October 3, 2006 That Express Pass is now $50 on top of the admission price for Friday night and $60 on top of the admission price for Sat. night. We won't be getting the Express Pass. I'm just wondering if we go for one night, if we will get to see everything.
BillyVance 34 #7 October 3, 2006 The Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL hosts one of the greatest scare-fests in the country every Halloween. Although the place really is haunted by real life incidents in the distant past and ghosts have been sighted, everything in the show is man-made, but it's damned good!"Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
apollard24 0 #8 October 3, 2006 Yeah I dont see why you wouldnt get to see everything. They do close down alot of the rides to put in the haunted houses which takes a lot of the room up.Breathe out so I can breathe you in...

Samurai136 0 #19 October 3, 2006 Universal. They have "the Hulk" and the "3D Spiderman Ride" and they are right next door to the wind tunnel... How can you top that?"Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
jumpchikk 0 #20 October 3, 2006 I will just be going for the haunted theme part of the parks...not the actual parks themselves...and as much as I love me some wind tunnel action, I got it about 2 weeks ago and my wallet is looking pretty slim these days... jumpingbean001 0 #21 October 4, 2006 Hey Les, Islands of Adventure usually puts on a pretty good Horror night deal. And you should be able to get in for $25 as a Florida citizen. Check on that. The downfall is they usually close half the rides and fill the park to capacity so that what is open takes hours to get on (or 45 min anyway). Def a good thing to check out. I have no desire to fight the crowds every year though. Then, of course, there is the citywalk afterwards. Have fun! Let's have fun! :)
