So, I just got back from MotoGP......

And it was totally kick ass! The bikes are loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was worth it just for the noise. My friend and I got separated and during that time he saw Valentino and stood right next to him! What an unlucky bastard I am. O well, the race was very exciting and just being near the bikes and riders gave me a high.

Was anyone else there? Or anyone overseas go to any other races?

I did not realize that Moto GP was on Fox. I set the TiVo to record what I thought was the race at Leguna Seca, but all I got was qualifying.

I was there yesterday. I was sitting at turn 2 (hairpin) and had a perfect view of turn 5 where the two from the first race were taken out. It was a a blast. I still think the best part was sitting directly under the fly line of the fighter jets. Now that made me tingle

the best way to do it, if you're planning on spending the weekend, is to watch the website and as soon as you can, reserve an RV spot. If you don't own an RV, rent one.

You never have to leave the track, you have a nice shady air conditioned place to go if it gets too hot, you can bring your own food and save a ton of money, etc. etc.

We did it for 3 years in a row and it was awesome.
