bwilling 0 #26 January 27, 2010 Lexmark E250 series laser, I have 4 of these at work, 1st one is over 50,000 page count now, and none of them have ever missed a beat. They're about $250 for a network equipped model, which is what I buy. Toner cartridges are expensive at about $85, but should be good for about 3500 pages at normal text document coverage. And they're fast, fast to warm up, and fast per page printing. I agree with Krisanne too, the HP Laserjet 4 series stuff is one of the most bullet proof printers ever made, they're just slow, which you've said doesn't matter that much... kallend 1,649 #27 January 27, 2010 HP Laserjet. Lots of models to choose from. Cartridges last a LONG time and don't clog up when not used in ages. My experience with inkjets (or bubble jets) is that if used infrequently the printing head gets messed up, and then you have to use ink as the head cleaner.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
