will.it.live.it 0 #1 June 5, 2010 Hey everybody. I've been dreaming of surfing the skies my whole life. And now am a little over a month away from achieving this goal. I have been perusing the interweb the last couple days soaking up any and all skydiving/parachuting/parasport/wingsuit information I can find. And I have stumbled upon this wonderful website. I've been reading a ton of posts lately and absolutely love the way everyone seems to chat and the general camaraderie between posters/friends and all. For some reason (some subconcious reasoning is probably in there but i choose not to dwell on it right now lol) When I first came to the site I was drawn to the Blue Skies forum.....let me begin by sending my heartfelt condolences to any and everybody who has lost someone dear to them. It hurts. But i will reiterate what I have read several people post. We need to remember those people by their lives and share memories with anybody willing to listen. It keeps them alive. Also as I am about to experience something I have wanted to my whole life it's like joining a group or family. We lose someone close to us and meet new people in our lives all the time. Hopefully I will get to know many of you well over time. Lastly as my signature talks about. Laughter is the best medicine. Laugh at life and the hardships. Its a journey we all share together. Have fun. Make friends. Look forward to chatting with you all. lol Lastly I didn't check out many peoples profiles. Are there many fellow canucks here?"Laughter gives us distance. It allows us to step back from an event, deal with it and then move on." Bob Newhart (1929 - )
