whats moscow like in winter (besides cold)

I'm an aussie living in england who aint ever seen snow before lol.

an am thinking of going to moscow in december or january, is there much of a night life etc ?
I want to experience freezing cold and have a good time on the town

Will has much more experience with night clubs than I do, but I know more objects;). Anyhow, "freezing cold" is just about what you'll have with no doubt whatsoever.

January is usually much sunnier than December.

Moscow is cold in winter...usually February is the coldest, but December/January ain't exactly a walk-in-the-park either. Expect a very dry -5 to -15 celsius.

The Moscow Night Life will not disappoint you...trust me :D. :ph34r:
