Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday by taking her and my 73 year old mother skydiving. What a WONDERFUL experience. I jumped with Lonnie and he was a true delight. He explained everything well and he was so funny! He let me just relax and have fun. My daughter jumped with Matt and he made her birthday celebration perfect. He really put her at ease. Lastly, my mom jumped with Alex and he was the perfect guy for her. She had the time of her life. Thank you SO MUCH for making our entire experience so memorable. Will definitely return next summer and will absolutely request Lonnie, Matt and Alex. All three took great care of us! Thank you!!!!

Being a newbie and very afraid of heights, I was as comfortable diving at Start Skydiving as I could have hoped for. Lonnie was very clear in his instructions and made me feel very secure and the video he took was amazing, even if I did look like a bit of a doofus which with a face like this is hard to fix. :D

Needless to say, I'm already scheduled for another jump and I can't wait!

I was extremely nervous and uncertain about jumping. But Lonnie Kirk, my instructor, was TERRIFIC and helped me to relax. Fantastic experience, and i have already signed up to do it again!!

Given that one of my biggest fears is heights, I thought I would be terrified during the whole experience but Lonnie was a perfect instructor and I enjoyed it the whole time! He gave me instructions throughout the whole experience so i could be prepared for what was going to happen, prompted me through deep breathing exercises a few minutes prior to the jump and even provided me with a mint! He was good at reading me and knowing what I needed, was very sociable and made me feel comfortable and relaxed- well, as relaxed as you can be before you free fall from a perfectly safe plane! He is excellent at his job and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

I am very thankful for the experience that Start Skydiving gave me. My instructor was Lonnie, and he made it so easy for every step of my first jump. I wanted to do something significant to draw a line to change my life. I was scared, but once we leaped into the sky, there was no fear. It was a beautiful day, and I felt great. It was an unbelievable experience that no words can describe. Any problems on the earth felt so small. Life is beautiful, and there is so much I can look forward to. That day became a beginning of my new chapter. I am moving on. Thank you so much, Lonnie and all the other stuff at Start Skydiving. You guys are the best!!

It was my first skydiving experience. Phill was my tandem instructor and Paola was the videographer. The skydiving experience was awesome. It almost felt like we were floating on the air. Phill did excellent job during the free fall and parachuting. He kept on checking if i was ok during the jump. He even went slowly during parachuting so that I don't get motion sick. Paola was amazing, she perfectly captured moments of the jump. Overall the crew is professional, calm and encouraging. If you are planning to go for your first jump, Start Skydiving is the perfect place.

This was my first time skydiving and the staff made it an experience to remember. My instructor was Adam, he was wonderful at explaining everything and making me feel safe! The staff were so accomodating they even helped my fiance to propose when we landed! I will never forget my experience at start skydiving and I will definitely be a repeat customer!!

If you are an adrenaline junky like myself, this is perfect for you!! I went 4 years ago to Start Skydiving in Middletown and had such an awesome experience that I have been itching to go back! I decided for my boyfriends 30th birthday that I'd take him. WOW!! I forgot just how thrilling and awesome it was to go skydiving. Lonnie was my instructor & he was GREAT! I'm sure all instructors are great but in my opinion, he is the best!! I cannot wait to go jump again!!

I believe Lonnie,my tandem instructor made the experience so awesome and memorial! He was detailed in safety and did verbal rechecks often- which made me feel safe. He was professional,aware, caring, sensitive, and light- hearted. He answered all my questions and was always checking in on me to see if i was O.K. To be above the clouds and see the magnificence of God's work is impossible to put into words. To feel the air force on my face- so invisible,yet thankfully ever-present! I believe that if you choose to try sky diving, choose to be centered in the experience and tandem with Lonnie!!!

I would recommend Dan P as an instructor to any skydiver because he seems to know exactly what the student needs to hear at just the right time to calm the student down. He also was very nice and made the whole experience a lot of fun, while being very professional all at the same time. If I get the opportunity to do another tandem jump someday, I would hope to have him as the instructor even though I'm sure the other instructors are great, too.

My "first time" tandem jump could not have been better. My instructor, Larry L. was friendly, courteous, enthusiastic and a great guy to share my experience. I never felt rushed or nervous and had complete confidence in his expertise!
I LOVED it and will return for additional jumps!

my mom and i came out, never having sky dived before. the online system for registering made things easy, the staff of instructors, pilots and everyone else is open, energetic, kind...even fellow jumpers who go regularly, are just as friendly as the staff and so happy to be there and in that environment. by the time you leave, you feel like you are leaving a group of friends. you are made to feel secure every step of the way and everything is done so that the experience is enjoyed to the fullest.

Lonnie Kirk was my Tandem instructor, and I could not had a better time. He provided a trust factor that new jumpers need. This was an experience that I had on my Bucket list. Due to a recent divorce, I needed something to shake me out of my fog. At Start Skydiving.com, in Middle town, my life was put back into perspective. Being alive not only means experiencing new things, it means enjoy them now! When you enjoy life, you appreciate all that it has to give. It's funny, I had to float in the air to get grounded. Today was my first jump!! What an AMAZING experience! The entire staff were awesome, especially Matt H. He answered all my questions and made the jump very exciting! My instructor was Dan P. of Middletown, Ohio, and he was an awesome instructor. He helped me to calm my nerves and made me sure I could trust him. He did a great job with the GoPro and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The only issue I had was his use of certain cuss words. Otherwise, he was truly great. Also, I heard the song "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" playing right before my jump. I love that song! It was a great day, and a great birthday present!

It was my first time jumping and I will never forget it, thanks to all the great people at Start Skydiving. Not only was the jump amazing. Or how easy going and friendly all the workers and instructors were. They also help me propose to my girlfriend. They truly made it an experience of a lifetime.

Me and my Girlfriend some how found the perfect window to go jump. After purchasing out jump we got right into our gear immediately and jumped onto the plane within twenty minutes. My tandem jump instructor Dan 'The Mustache Man' P. was an awesome guy and gave me the experience of a lifetime.

Lonnie Kirk was an amazing instructor. I walked in nervous as can be and within a couple minutes of talking with him I was nothing but excited. Lonnie had an answer for any question I asked and was extremely friendly. Nothing but compliments from me.

This was my first time sky diving and I tell you what, when I touched ground I said "lets do it again!" My instructor Dan P was awesome and assured me that it was going to be a great experience. He was absolutely right! He was funny and comforted me by telling me what to expect. The view was beautiful from 10,000ft in the air! WOO! then the JUMP! HECK YEA! Good environment, Good people, & great skydiving is what you can expect! BRAVO. thanks a lot!!

Lonnie Kirk is the best! Very professional, coaching was great, phenomenal first jump experience, I definitely would jump with him as my instructor again. Definitely plan to come back to request him specifically this year and potentially next.

Overall was very pleased with the experience at StartSkydiving. The jump was awesome. Everything went smoothly and felt safe. Instructors were very professional and friendly.

Would definitely do it again.

The only two criticisms are first that we were not sure exactly where to go on arrival and the front desk staff at the time were not very welcoming or friendly. Secondly there was no instruction at all as to what to expect or what procedure would be for the jump until about 3 minutes before jumping out of plane. There should be at least a short instructional class in hangar before putting jumpsuits on and boarding plane.

This was my second visit to Start Skydiving and I was once again completely blown away by how great off a time I had. My tandem diver was Kyle and he was awesome. My best friend and I wanted to do something exciting before our college classes started back up for the year. WOW!!! We were not disappointed!! This was the most adventurous and fun thing I have ever done, and I could not have asked for a better experience! Dan P. was my instructor. He was amazing! He was so encouraging and funny. Dan was very personable and made me feel at ease when I began getting pretty nervous while we were in the plane. I would definitely recommend this place (and Dan P. as an instructor) to anyone who is considering skydiving. I also highly recommend ordering the photo and video package! Ray (the photographer/videographer) was great. Every time I watch the DVD or look through the pictures, I will get to relive that exhilarating experience. Start Skydiving is an overall fantastic place. I felt safe and secure at all times. I will be back for sure! Thanks to everyone who made it so memorable!
