I have only visited Swansea a few times but it stands out as the friendliest, within minutes all the club regulars introduce themselves and invite you jump with them. Manifest has always seemed fair and efficient. They coach most disciplines and have awesome views as well. This DZ is well worth a visit.

I began by doing a tandem jump for charity back in May and loved it so much I ended up doing two more over the next three weeks! After realising that three tandems in a month was costing me a fortune I decided to do my AFF course - I'm so glad I did! My instructors were fantastic - extremely professional but gave constructive criticism when they needed to (in a friendly way!) - it is all about safety after all and I was grateful for their care and attention to detail. I managed to complete my course within six weeks, and when I struggled with some of the levels, the staff and club jumpers were always there with words of support and encouragement to boost my confidence. I have made great friends at this dropzone and cannot recommend it highly enough!

I did a tandem three years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it and so signed up for the AFF course this year. Staff were very friendly, professional and thorough in their approach. I was very lucky with the weather and completed my course within three weeks, including all my consols! The aircraft is top notch. The whole atmosphere at this dropzone is superb with lots of cheery banter, and people are always on hand to give friendly advice. Very highly recommended! :-)

Having read a poor review I felt compelled to put it right. I did my first tandem at Skydive Swansea in 2009 with Ryan and loved it - went back in 2010 for another one and then decided to do my AFF. Best decision I've ever made. I've been jumping there ever since and can honestly say its a very friendly dz - staff care about you as a person. And you cannot beat the views from 12k

Where do I start?!??

I did my first few tandem skydives at Swansea.
My first in 2009 & had the instructor with dreadlocks...Allan I think he was called. Such a professional, and made the experience just unbelievable!

Got the big so came back and did another tandem with the guy they called "BOSS"...he had like 4,000,000 jumps, and as this was my second tandem we did some backflips or turns....to see Swansea from way up there with no windows or floor between my belly and the ground was just the biggest rush ever!

I really enjoyed the views and the staff were super helpful & were just fun to be around. To pick the vibe up off the club members really made both the jumps just amazing!!!

I recently did my 3rd tandem over the summer. They have a super smart new plane and the instructor mick was as I've come to expect from Swansea skydiving club: Professional & highly experienced!

Having read the previous reviews I felt compelled to right a few wrongs....RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

My experience of Skydive Swansea has always been extremely positive. Staff are always willing to help and offer advice. You can see that everyone who is there has worked hard and are team players and I love that about it. When the weather is good the views are competing for the best I have ever had the pleasure of jumping with. The club jumpers are very friendly and always excited to jump with new people. On the whole, the DZ is growing and going in a good direction. I, personally, look forward to seeing its future.

I initially enjoyed doing a tandem jump with this company so much that I did another and subsequently signed up for the AFF course. This cost quite a lot of money but sadly was not as good as expected. The attitudes of some members of staff were rude and aggressive. Frequent bad weather made completing the course very difficult and we were expected to hang around the airport waiting for the weather to change or otherwise get a stick about it. MEGA disappointed.

Rocked up at Swansea for the first time ever during the Easter Weekend and was made more than welcome by the regulars and staff. Its a small, VERY well run operation that will undoubtably get bigger as it becomes more established and offers something for everyone. Tandem jumpers, serious jumpers, students, and "Weekend Wonders" like myself are all catered for and most loads are a mix of these.

Jump Ship at this moment in time is an Airvan, and the spacious DZ is either at the northern or southern ends of Swansea Airport depending on the wind direction.

The views of the Gower Peninsular from altitude are stunning and provide a perfect backdrop to a great days skydiving.

Highly recommended.
