Where to start...

Bought a tandem for a friend here last September as a birthday gift and had nothing but hassle since.

Owner unprofessional, rude, and only interested in money.
Handed over nearly £300 and had voucher and form taken off me, leaving no paper trail to even prove I'd paid! Standard dodgy dealer procedure.

Attended eight times in the last nine months, haven't even seen the inside of a plane yet. Tried to charge us even more money if we left the site before the end of the day, despite the weather being horrible and us travelling miles to attend!

Tried to contact the owner about a refund bc of poor attitude, rudeness of staff. Wasn't too fussed about the deposit, only to be told in no uncertain terms where to go.

Only interested in the cash! When's thats been handed over, you're on your own.

Wouldn't get this as a gift for my worst enemy, and now considering legal proceedings!

I don't know where to start to explain how poor this place is.

When I turn up at a start time of 8am, I fully expect the business to be at the very least open, and possibly to be greeted by a smile. Not here. In fact, if anyone bothers to turn up within an hour then you can consider yourself privileged. I've been to this place 5 times now, only once for a jump for myself. Never before have I witnessed such rude staff. To be fair this is generally from what I gather is the owner. The rest seem decent enough people.

Went up for 3 unsuccessful visits, due to weather. On the fourth time the forecast was terrible, so we called, the day before to postpone the jump. we were told we were to loose the deposit. Now i did explain that the website stated that the deposit would only be lost f you cancelled on the day. response?..."it doesn't matter what the website says, you've lost the money"...charming.

I'd rather burn the money than spend anymore cash there.

Facilities, poor to terrible.
Friendliness, non existant.
Training, garbage

Just don't do it. honestly.

I had the time of my life. Had to wait about half an hour after getting suited up due to rain but the guys kept things going with their sense of humour. Instructor, Mark, really looked after me and instilled confidence. Would use again and planning my next jump for next year. Many thanks to all.

Been up to Paragon 10 times now, very unhelpful & unprofessional staff. 14 people were turned away on Sunday some having travelled 200 miles, because they had no pilot, not too bad but did they have to wait till half 3 to tell us we would not be jumping especially since we got there at 8am. Never over the last year have we seen the plane actually up in the air, if fact havnt seen it at all the last 4 times. Wont let you jump if the ground is slightly wet - incase the parachutes get wet - they only have 2...... Cant decide what the price is, some people have paid £300 some £400 when it clearly states on wall in office its £250. Dont book through an agency and pay your deposit - they will charge you it again, telling you that is the agency's booking fee (rubbish) Seriously this must be the most incompetent company I have ever come accross, and I wont be going back and I certainly wont reccommend it to anyone.........

Paragon is a quiet club where if your name's on the board your on the next lift or the one after. The DZ can be identified from about 35,00ft which can be VERY useful when you're just starting there. It has one of the best views I've seen and even has a car boot sale a few mins down the road on sundays.
