Just completed my first tandem jump yesterday with Dave as the instructor and Jeff as his accomplice. The equipment and process was explained very well and I didn't feel unsafe at all. I would highly recommend this DZ as we got in the air within two hours of getting there. The weather was great, the view even better. Thanks guys for a great experience.

I went to the Malone Parachute Club for my first jump last weekend. Everyone running the club and the club member's were extremely friendly. The club has a very positive atmosphere. I was not nervous to jump because of all the reassurance they provided with safety mechanisms in the parachutes and how comfortable they were jumping. I strongly recommend this drop zone! I cant wait to go back from my static line jump.

My girlfriend and I were "first time" jumpers this weekend and had the time of our lives. All of the crew at the MPC made us feel superbly welcome and made our first jump one to remember.

We both went up with different tandem instructors: Eric & Lee. Both managed to quell the majority of our anxieties, managed to educate us and make the jump the best it could possibly be. We were both ecstatic about the entire experience.

The views were gorgeous; once up in the plane we were able to get some breathtaking views of Lake Champlain on one side and the mountains on the other. We could even see Montreal in the distance.

The videographer, Kent, took some amazing footage for us to bring home and he even edited and finished it for us right onsite!

Needless to say, we really did have the time of our lives and we would highly recommend the MPC to any jumpers, new or experienced.

Thanks for everything!

Chris & Mallory

Very motivating people to be around, trustworthy and responsible and passionate. Friendly but hardcore as well. We feel lucky to be around them and learn as much as we can.

Very friendly staff, all volunteers who are passionate about the sport.

Safety is their #1 concern and after going through the training, you will feel safe in their care. They go through everything twice or more if you need more instruction. The class was small enough that everyone was able to ask questions and the group felt comfortable.

This was my first jump (tandem) and I felt very confident that I was in good hands.

If it's your first jump - get the video! Just give them a heads up that you want it. It's definitely worth the little bit of extra money to capture that experience (and to have proof for your friends.) The photography & editing was great.

Overall an excellent experience.

I was making a very big move from Hawaii and jumping at skydive hawaii to upstate NY and not knowing where to jump. I had done a lot of research and this is the DZ to go to. If you like the feel of being part of the family this is the place to go. I really liked the entire time I spent with them and looking forward to the next season. They realy take new jumpers to the DZ under their wing if you will. I have not found a more friendly DZ with some great profesionals and its where world class skydivers have found the sport. If your in the North East on a weakend than dont miss out on this DZ!!!

The people at Malone Parachute club are really great to hang around. I spent the day there once waiting while my girlfriend jumped and still had fun hanging around. The clouds were too low for me to jump that day.

If you are in the area check these people out.

I wanted to try skydiving for a long time. It was too expensive for me. Then I did not want to jump in tandem or, when someone is holding on to you. Static line was the way to go for me. Low cost and you jump on yourself. I had to drive 4 hours to get to this DZ, and I happy I did it. Very good instructors, very good help, precise answers to my questions, good equipment and just very friendly people. They helped me to stay the night there. And I was able to do even a free fall jump! It was a long trip for me and I am totally satisfied with everything. Very good place! And I will go there again, I like it a lot.

in 1999 i brought a group of students from my college to malone to do a skydive. i was going to do it just one time... from the second i left the plane i new i was interested in jumping.....once i spent time at the dropzone with the friendly people, and the interest of the older skydivers in my jumps as a student, completed my interest in the whole concept of skydiving. there is more to skydiving than just jumping out of planes, it is a relationship with a diverse group of individuals who care and respect each other. this is what you find in malone, every single weekend.

My visit to Malone introduced me to an amazing bunch of people. They seem to have found a way to breed a skilled knowledgeable, responsible skydiver without hindering the spark that gets cargo chutes jumped and naked winter skydives made. This is a warm and friendly group, welcoming to visitors regardless of experience level.
The Malone Parachute Clubs boundless hospitality is matched only by their enthusiasm for the sport. More DZs should be this way.

I can't say enough about this DZ!! Three years ago I visited three DZ's to see where I wanted to start my new hobby. The first two DZ's were not very friendly and were just to impersonal and very buisness like. I ended up in Malone one Sunday afternoon and stayed for five hours!! The people are amazing and down to earth. They are all there because of their love of the sport. I have since jumped at other DZ's, but few can come close to the atmosphere of Malone. It also happens to be one of the least expensive DZ's and at the same time, one of the safest. I chose to remain jumping in Malone for their quality. Quality equipment, Quality training, and last but not least ...... QUALITY PEOPLE !!

My new hobby three years ago is now devoloping into a passion. I attribute that to all the regulars and club members who make this DZ special!! Thanks to you all!!

A DZ with great vibes, and where all the jumps are 'fun' jumps. Whether your just visiting or have been jumping there for years, you'll feel equally at home. A place where people purely jump only for the love of the sport and not for any financial gain.
