  1. I'm on Long Island too. Went to a place in NJ and i was really happy with them. Next I may do Long Island, though a bunch of us may do a group trip over to the NJ spot again - it's $149 a person if you haven't jumped there before. Where on LI are you? let me know if you want info on it or if you wanna join us when we go mid-late summer! -Caroline
  2. Thanks everyone, the jump was cool, 10k feet and yes I am prepared to go broke from my new expensive hobby/addiction! LOL i was surprisingly unfazed which is very odd to say -- but my challenge will be when i eventually jump alone. as soon as the chute opened i was crushed haha but i wanted to go again right away!
  3. so sorry for the late reply! I went tandem and am totally obsessed - every day i dream of jumping...... :) i plan to start coming to this forum more often now too!
  4. I was just looking at places in FL yesterday and this looked really exciting to me: http://www.skydivespacecenter.com/ i'm brand new to skydiving, just did my first jump 2 weeks ago and have been daydreaming about it ever since. Am totally a junkie and want to get certified too - this place just looked really cool but I don't know much about it.
  5. Good afternoon everyone, My very first jump is tomorrow. I NEVER thought I'd ever intentionally jump from a plane, and now I'm trying to shake the fright and embrace the amazement I'll experience. I'm wondering if anyone has ever been to Skydive New Jersey, as that's where I am going. I know I'll probably love it and want to keep doing this and for that I am excited - but exiting the plane will be difficult for sure. They'll have to pull me out, and I've already given them the heads up haha anyway I'd love to hear any tips you may have or if you have anything to tell me about SkyDive New Jersey (in Pittstown) that'd be great. Thank you and I look forward to being on this forum a lot!
