  1. The suit itself is a fantastic product but more than anything their customer service at tonysuits made it worth every penny. FedEx delivery had my package down as delivered while I was home... needless to say I was not a happy camper when I found out the box was not there. I quickly called FedEx and tonysuits. The office manager went guns out after FedEx to make sure the issue was fixed. 4 hours later my box showed up =D Once I got it I put on the suit and jumped it a few times but my measurements in a few areas were a a bit off so it fit kinda tight in some body positions. Called up and asked about alterations and was told I would only need to pay for shipping. Sweet deal! The new measurements made alterations not possible but instead a new suit is being built from scratch. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and suit for the reasons of you WILL get a fantastic product and if not they WILL make sure to do everything possible.
  2. So I got to jump my helmet today and during free fall had no problems with my glasses fogging. However I do have to leave the lens cracked open a bit just before jumping and once under canopy I just open it fully. It is super comfy and I didn't have any issues soooo all is good =p
  3. There is that option but I've had glasses since i was 3 so they are as much a part of me as say a limb. I am debating it though...
  4. Sounds good =) I figured I would at least crack it open before exit and under canopy but my main worry was during free fall where the only option is to open it and have a face shield rip away from you at 120mph -.- I had kinda figured during freefall that it probably wont be to bad cause of the air flow but i guess I will find out for sure fairly soon haha I hadn't thought about the fog freezing so a big thanks for pointing that one out to me. It is better to know about something like that now than when I'm falling and freaking out over being blind or something
  5. I recently just got a Mamba full faced helmet and was like suhhhwheeet anti fog alrighty this is gonna be good However when I got it and tried it on at home i was like god this thing fogs like mad... untill i realized it was actually my glasses fogging... Im jumping this weekend so I can answer my own question then but I figured I would just ask around here anyhoo before hand =p When in free fall does fogging of glasses still happen under a full faced as much as on the ground standing? And has anyone ever heard of a product called 'Cat Crap' for anti fog... yes it sounds like a horrible name but ive heard it work but that you have to re apply often
  6. So I recently received my helmet and had read before that glasses with this helmet can be an issue. I wear the I guess 'modern' style glasses with the black rims and rectangular shape. Anyway the helmet fits my head great and is nice and snug but my glasses have fractions between the outer most points on either side and the lens. It not tot big an issue I just have to remember to push my glasses up before throwing down the visor. When it comes to the lock, people say that it is confusing to open... it took me about 15 seconds to figure out how to do it. Even if you do take a bit to get used to it once you have the idea down its not something your going to forget. Overall I love this helmet and would recommend it to anyone =) -See ya in the sky!
  7. Good point about being vertical on an RW run anyway... if i do happen to hit that position on accident i definitely must have done something wrong haha
  8. I had 100% decided on buying booties when i first started skydiving haha. Everyone at the DZ supported the idea and said once i graduate and have some solos then get them for sure. My main concern was if i happened to go into a sit or stand if i would be toasted by air funneling up the booties. And later on I will get the right suit for FF but that's down the line anyway =)
  9. I've already got the DZ bug haha... when I'm not skydiving I'm thinking about the next time I can go skydiving haha And I have definitely tapped into the bank of parents for some gear
  10. yeah that was kinda how I figured it would be. I enjoy belly flying but I've stood up once or twice and that can be more fun when your alllllll aloneee
  11. So i got my A last week, and this weekend i cant jump =( so of course like any skydiver when I'm not jumping I'm thinking about jumping haha... Anyway I am currently ordering my gear and what not and I know that i want booties on my jump suit but I am wondering if they will cause any issues if i transition to sit fly or standing... (I fall sooooo slow on my belly even when I'm folded in half with my arch breaking my back...)
  12. Hiya everyone, I have been stalking the dz site for a while =P so figured id say hi and give out a bit of info too =) Name is Chris and I am turning 19 in 2 weeks, and i completed my goal of getting my A before that b day just this last weekend =) Now the fun part of buying gear haha. Got a helmet and altimeter on the way and more stuff to come later =) Goal is to be around in the sport for a longgggg time =) -See ya in the sky!
  13. I have only been jumping for about 3 months but in that time I got my A license at TSC. In that time they had the otter, king air, and the best of all the CASA =) (who doesn't love running out the rear loading door). I have always felt welcomed here. When I have questions I feel like I can ask anyone on the DZ and get a friendly response.
